ISA met with Container Services Network (CSN) to begin revitalization of the container recycling program in Iowa.  As a result of that meeting, in conjunction with AAI, the Iowa Department of Ag, Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Iowa State University, a new pesticide container recycling program was initiated.  The program includes recycling of all plastic crop protection containers up to 55 gallon drums at no charge.

The Ag Container Recycling Council (ACRC at www.acrecycle.org) is the national organization that
coordinates the pesticide container recycling program.  TRI-rinse, the firm which previously operated the collections throughout Iowa, has been replaced by Container Services Network LLC (CSN) www.ContainerServicesNetwork.com. Download new recycling guidelines here.
